1.269 FAQ-1108 Why there is always a sole longer dash showing in my dashed line plot?

When you plot a line plot and set the line Type as Dash, when you zoom in the graph you may find some dashes are longer than others, and the dash shows wiggly. Note that this issue also exists if you export the graph.

This issue is caused by the interpolation algorithm and also relates to the display resolution.


To workaround it

REDUCE the points for the line plot

  • You can use Reduce Rows tool to reduce your data points. (Menu Worksheet: Reduce Rows).
