Gampdf

Definition

Y = gampdf(X,a,b) computes the gamma probability density function at each of the values in X using the corresponding shape parameters in a and scale parameters in b.

\[f(x|a,b)=\frac 1{b^a\Gamma (a)}x^{a-1}e^{\frac{-x}b}\]

shape parameter \(a >0\).
b (input, double)
scale parameter \(b >0\).
