5.72 FAQ-1000 How to reset the size and position of a dialog or Script Window?

Sometimes you may want to reset the size or position of a dialog or the Script Window, especially when you drag it out of your computer display screen..

For dialog window

1. Restart Origin.

Dialog position and size will be reset on the new startup. Please note that the position and size will be remembered within a session on the other hand.

If you cannot save the working project because you "hide" a dialog unconsciously, maybe by minimizing it or dragging it out of screen, please refer to this quick help for solutions.

For Script Window

1. Select from menu Window: Script Window to close the Script Window.
2. Reopen it by menu Window: Script Window or Shift+Alt+3.

Closing the Script Window from the Window menu, the window position and size will be reset. Please note that if you close Script Window from clicking the X icon at the top-right corner of the window, the window position and size will be remembered the next time you open it.
